Beyonders Program at Atria University

At Atria University’s Beyonders Program, I served as a resource person for an engaging, five-day workshop aimed at first-year engineering students. This program was crafted to introduce foundational mathematical concepts through project-based learning, covering topics like sets, relations, functions, probability, trigonometry, and basic derivatives.

A major highlight was the “Paper Plane Activity,” where students designed and tested their own planes to understand concepts such as angles, trajectories, and probability. This hands-on exercise fostered teamwork, creativity, and a practical application of mathematical principles. By the end of the week, students could confidently manipulate sets, interpret data with functions, use probability in decision-making, solve angle-related problems with trigonometry, and understand the significance of derivatives.

The students & growth was inspiring, as they connected theoretical concepts to real-world applications. It was an honor to contribute to their learning journey at Atria University.
